Die Farbe der Mächtigen: Strahlendes Blau ist ein Hingucker

Berlin. Für graue Mäuse ist diese Farbe nicht gemacht: Azurblau und sein etwas dunklerer Verwandter Royal fallen auf. Und sie verleihen dem Herbst Strahlkraft. Vor allem als Kontrastprogramm zum Farbklassiker der dunklen Jahreszeit: Schwarz.
Frühjahrstrend Blau
Noch ist es ein bisschen hin zum nächsten Frühling, aber der Blick in die Zukunft zeigt: Auch im kommenden Jahr kann man nichts verkehrt machen, wenn man den Ratschlägen der Stilberater folgt. Blau spielt dann eine der wichtigsten Rollen.
Das erklärt das Deutsche Mode-Institut in seiner Trendanalyse für Frühling und Sommer 2016. Von Dark Denim bis lichtem Bleu seien Blautöne verstärkt gefragt. Auch die Fachzeitschrift „Textilwirtschaft” berichtete bereits von einem Blau-Trend: von Kornblume bis Royal, Blau ist in.
„Den Namen Royalblau trägt diese Farbe übrigens nicht zufällig”, erklärt Maria Hans, Diplom-Ingenieurin für Bekleidungstechnik aus Hamburg. „Die Herstellung war früher nämlich so aufwendig, dass diese Farbe den Reichen und Mächtigen vorbehalten war.”
Dafür wurden Pflanzenteile zur Gärung in große Wasserbottiche gegeben. „Interessanterweise war das Ergebnis zunächst einmal nicht etwa blau, sondern gelblich”, erklärt Hans. „Erst durch Zugabe von Sauerstoff entstand das Blau, das wir bis heute als Indigo oder eben Royal- oder Königsblau kennen.”
„Ein echter Hingucker ist ohne Zweifel ein Mantel in Azurblau”, erklärt Stilberaterin Stephanie Zarnic aus Berlin. „Der lässt sich auch bestens mit neutralen Tönen kombinieren, neben Schwarz gilt das auch für Weiß.”
Doch auch mit Nude-Tönen sieht Azur klasse aus. Das Schöne an dieser Knallfarbe: Sie macht auch dann auf sich aufmerksam, wenn sie nur als Muster auftaucht. „In diesem Herbst sieht man öfter Mäntel mit Karomuster, in dem dieser leuchtende Blauton dominiert”, gibt Hans ein Beispiel. Aber auch bei Streifen oder floralen Mustern blitzt Azur immer wieder auf und verleiht dem Outfit Power.
„Ganz Mutige tragen Azur als wahren Colourflash zu anderen Knallfarben”, erklärt Zarnic. Sie nennt die Kombination mit einem knallgelben Mantel als Beispiel. „Die Kombination mit Grün und Orange ist ebenfalls möglich.”
Unbekannt ist diese Farbe in der Mode natürlich nicht: In der US-Erfolgsserie „Denver Clan” etwa spielte Azurblau bei den Outfits von Joan Collins alias Alexis eine Hauptrolle. Auch Thierry Mugler, Designer-Ikone der 1980er Jahre, hatte ein Faible für diesen Ton. „Aber wie so oft bei einem Revival, ist auch diesmal die Neuauflage deutlich besser”, sagt Hans. „Das Styling ist viel selbstverständlicher geworden und auch leuchtende Blautöne können ganz lässig kombiniert werden.”
Ähnlich sieht es Andrea Lakeberg: „Royalblau funktioniert wunderbar zu sehr verwaschenen Jeans – ob mit oder ohne Löcher”, erklärt der Trend-Scout aus Berlin. „Das Schöne daran: Auch mit solchen Denims wird das Erscheinungsbild durch Königsblau aufgewertet. Diese Farbe ist sozusagen ein Upgrade um zwei Stufen nach oben.”
Und wem steht der Farbton? „Eigentlich gehört Azur zu den kalten Farben, ist also perfekt für alle, denen diese Nuancen gut stehen. Also Frauen mit heller Haut, eher bläulichem Teint, blauen oder grauen Augen, blonden oder sehr dunklen Haaren”, sagt Zarnic. „Bei diesen Frauen strahlt der Teint förmlich, wenn Azurblau ins Spiel kommt.” Maria Hans ergänzt: „Bei Royal kommt es entschieden auf den Unterton dieser Farbe an. Es gibt durchaus Varianten, die auch Dunkelhaarigen mit braunen Augen und warmem Teint stehen.” Sie rät, einfach mit der Farbe zu experimentieren.
Skeptisch sehen Lakeberg und Hans ein komplettes Outfit in diesem Ton – das sei einfach zu viel. Zarnic hält dagegen: Sie habe schon einen Anzug komplett in diesem Blauton gesehen, der gut aussah. Wem das aber zu viel ist, kann sich auf Accessoires wie einen Schal oder eine Handtasche konzentrieren und damit dem Outfit Farbe schenken.
