Nachdem ich gestern Nachmittag nichts weiter zu tun hatte, beschloß ich meine Bestände im Atelier zu sichten. Dabei stieß ich auf ein wunderschönes, dunkelbraunes Kalbslder, das ich schon sehr lange mal zu einer Tasche verarbeiten wollte.
Eine kleine Skizze hatte ich schon vor Wochen angefertigt und der Schnitt war schnell gemacht. Da es eine sehr schlichte Tasche werden sollte, machte der Zuschnitt auch keine große Mühe und ich kam schnell voran.
Zunächst wurde mit Kreide der Henkel auf das Leder angezeichnet. Mit dem Schneiderwinkel hat man für gerade Schnitte ein prima Hilfsmittel. Er ist aus Metall und entsprechend schwer. Somit legt sich das Leder glatt hin und man kann mühelos loslegen!
Nach dem Zusammennähen des Henkels habe ich an der Schneiderpuppe die genaue Länge bestimmt. Ich wollte einen breiten Henkel, der über die Schulter getragen wird und nicht zu lang ist. Ja,…zum Nähen brauche ich eine Brille! Ansonsten finde ich das Nadelöhr nicht mehr…;)
Nun die Seitenteile mit den restlichen Schnitteilen verbinden. Nach ca, zwei Stunden war die Tasche soweit fertig. Und durfte, zunächst ungefüttert auf dem Stuhl platznehmen.
Erste Anprobe genehm??? 😉 Kritscher Blick, ohne Brille!!!
Heute habe ich dann das Futter zugeschnitten und eingenäht. Noch schnell eine lange Troddel dazu gedreht und fertig ist meine neue Tasche!
Nun muß ich die Tasche nur noch Probetragen, vielleicht Morgen in der Stadt?
Das ist wirklich eine ganz tolle Tasche. Ich mag das Schlichte so gerne. Das ist toll, wenn man nähen kann. Also zeichnen kannst du wirklich gut und nähen auch.
